Crumpler is not too well known in the United States but it should be. The few that have heard of them know them for their messenger bags but their new line of hardside travel bags is unlike any other you’ve seen so far. The Crumpler Vis-A-Vis Trunk 68CM 4 Wheeled Luggage is a high end 26.7″ hard shell spinner upright with a glossy exterior and a compression packing system on the interior.

If you want to pack your suitcase to the brim to avoid carrying an extra bag, this piece of luggage will do the trick. You can pack lots of clothes in it because of its design. You also don’t have to worry about the zipper busting open in transit because of reinforced wrap around fabric straps.

In addition to the 68CM bag, there is also a 78CM, a 55CM cabin bag and an attache or briefcase. They are all aimed at the luxury traveler and they look expensive too.

• This bag measures 26.77 in x 18.31 in x 9.84 in and weighs 10 lbs or 4.55 kg.

 

• The bag’s shell is made of a blend of ABS and polycarbonate for toughness, durability and lightness.

 

• There are two color combinations available – Black shell with black straps and handles, or black shell with orange straps and handles.

 


• The reinforced zipper is supplemented with two straps that wrap around the bag for extra safety and to remove any strain on the zipper if it is stuffed to the gills.

 

• The same tough fabric straps bifurcate to also form two grab handles with a padded snap closure to allow you to lift the bag horizontally with ease.

 

• A built-in TSA lock rounds up the security features.

 

• The 4 spinner wheels are designed for a smooth glide across most surfaces.

• You can use the length of the straps on the outside of the panels to hold accessories like cords, books, etc. in place, while a total of 4 zippered mesh pockets on the outside are good for toiletries, etc.

Pros

This is a nice option if you don’t want to carry a garment bag but still want to have your clothes as wrinkle-free as possible.
